Barbara J. Case, 60, Worked at Redner's in Doylestown

Barbara J. Case of Danboro passed away Monday.

Barbara J. Case of Danboro passed away at her residence on Monday, December 16, 2013. She was 60 years old.

Born in Pipersville to the late Jack and Rosella Schiable Lippincott, Barbara was a lifelong resident of Pipersville before moving to Danboro 10 years ago.

She graduated Palisades High School in 1971 and attended Upper Bucks Technical School, where she received a Certificate in Culinary Arts. Barbara was employed as a bakery manager with Redner's Markets of Doylestown and was a longtime member and Treasurer of the Tinicum United Church of Christ of Pipersville, PA. Barbara loved cooking, especially Christmas cookies for family and friends and was a devoted family person. She also had an extensive owl collection as a hobby.

She is the beloved wife of 25 years to Theodore "Ted" Case, devoted mother of Jack Antonio Case, dear sister of Judy Farris and husband Bill, Jack Lippincott and wife Cathy, sister-in-law of the late Pearl Derry, loving aunt of Debbie, Crystal and Jack Lippincott, also survived by three grand nieces and numerous cousins.

A visitation will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Friday, December 20, 2013 from 6-9 pm.

Private cremation services will follow. 

A memorial service will be held at the Tinicum United Church of Christ, 310 E. Dark Hollow Road, Pipersville, PA 18947 on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 10 am.

Memorial gifts may be made in Barbara's memory to the Tinicum United Church of Christ.
