Fish are fun for Friends
Kids got to stock the borough dam pond with trout in an annual ritual in advance of kids fishing day.
Wednesday's annual stocking of the Doylestown Borough dam for kids fishing day was a great success
More than 200 kids and parents got to stock the fishing pond with trout, some of them huge, and have some pizza, thanks to the volunteers from the Doylestown Youth Fishing Program.
The trout were delivered by Morgan Hughey of Limestone Springs. A full truck of the slippery, slimy swimmers was distributed to kids by Hughey and Doylestown Borough's David Burger.

Once off the truck, kids squealed with delight as they brought the jumping, splashing fish in buckets and dumped them in the pond.
The stockers were given kids' fishing licenses and were fed pizza after their hard work.
