Come Learn, Have Fun, and Meet the People Who Keep You Safe

Come out to learn about fire prevention and firefighters in Doylestown!

On Friday, October 5, from 6:30 - 9 p.m., the Doylestown Fire Company will hold the annual fire prevention open house at the Shewell Avenue Firehouse.

The event kicks off fire prevention activities for the company. There will be trucks to tour, gear to try on, and hoses to squirt. Central Bucks Ambulance will be there with an ambulance. The Bucks County Department of Communications will be bringing the County Emergency Communications vehicle, there will be free hot dogs and refreshments, and other educational fun and surprises.

Doyle the Dalmatian will be greeting kids, and firefighters from the company will be giving fire prevention tips and demonstrations of the gear they use. The Fire Company's Fire Safety Trailer will be there too.
