The Women's Business Forum's Summer Social is Wed. July 20 and you're invited!
On Wednesday, July 20, the Women’s Business Forum (WBF) celebrates summer with a potluck supper and you’re invited!
If you’re a business owner, this fun networking event will give you the opportunity to meet other area business owners and get to know one another in a relaxed setting. First time attendees are welcome.
The WBF is the 14th largest networking group in the region according to the Philadelphia Business Journal. Its mission is to support and mentor women business owners in a way more informal than some traditional networking groups.

Here are 5 things that set the WBF apart:
- Free, twice-monthly meetings -- Other groups can cost hundreds of dollars a year to join but the WBF is a free non-profit group.
- Focused on you - not on referral quotas – While other groups require referrals as a condition of membership, the WBF focuses on supporting and mentoring you as you grow your business.
- No industry exclusivity – Anyone can join (yes, even men :) ). You can learn from everyone, even your “competition”. Plus, you never know when an invigorating partnership might form.
- Cutting edge speakers – Share their resources and experiences the first Wednesday of every month. Topics range from finance to blogging for business.
- Get jazzed up, not bogged down—there are no time requirements. You can come when you want and get involved as little or as much as you want.
New President of the WBF, Lynn Sharer of Long and Foster Real Estate says, “Our Summer Social is the event of the summer. It is a time to meet and greet in a relaxed situation and to enjoy the people around you.”

The Women’s Business Forum’s Summer Social is Wed. July 20 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at The Potomac Bead Company, 137 South Main Street, Doylestown. Parking will be on the street, at the CVS, or in the lot by the Doylestown train station.
