Christmas Festivities Start Next Week at Peddler's Village

If you want to get in the holiday spirit, the place to do it is next week at Peddler’s Village.

The Buckingham Township shopping village will flip the switch on its majestic holiday light display Friday, Nov. 22 at 6:15 p.m. sharp.

Who better to do the honors than Santa himself?

St. Nick will be at the shopping village that evening to kick off the holiday season and will be visiting with children at Giggleberry Fair.

There will be cider, marshmallow toasting and specials at various stores. Also, the Annual Gingerbread House Competition and Display will open in the Village Gazebo.

The event will be held until 9 p.m. Admission is free. The Christmas light show will be on display at Peddler's Village through early January.

Santa will be at his indoor workshop at Giggleberry Fair through Dec. 22. He'll be there Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays as well as Tuesday, Dec. 24.
