No Joke: Former Editor Returns to Doylestown Patch

Kara Seymour is excited to be back as editor of Doylestown Patch.

Dear Reader,

Hello again. I’ve missed you.

You may remember me; I was editor of Doylestown Patch up until January.

Well, I’m excited to let you know that as of today, I’ve returned and am eager to bring back the local news that you were used to from Patch.

We've been through a few changes since I left in January. The biggest change is Patch has a new owner, Hale Global. However, one thing that hasn’t changed is our commitment to be a vibrant online meeting place where you and your neighbors can come for the latest local news and events.

We have exciting plans in store for the site that will be revealed in the near future but in the meantime, I hope you will again make Patch part of your daily routine. Over the next few weeks, I will be working hard to bolster the local news coverage on the site and returning Patch to what made it so special in the first place.

As always, I’m available to hear your feedback, news tips, comments, etc. My email is the same: Kara.Seymour@patch.com. I have a new phone number: 267-397-1961.

It’s good to be back!

Sincerely,

Kara Seymour

Welcome back. We really needed current news. I was getting nothing of old news and duplicates. The VFW Post 175 had a ground breaking for the Global War On Terrorism (GWOT) memorial that had no coverage. The Post raised some $150,000 in a year to get this accomplished. There is so much local that does not get covered. Looking foreward to great coverage. Jack
