A brand new Toyota Sienna will be presented to PA K9 Assistance Foundation this week at Thompson Toyota.
The donation is being presented as part of Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good campaign, which provides new vans to deserving nonprofits.
The Bucks County-based organization, which provides resources to underfunded K9 teams, will receive its new van Wednesday. A K9 handler will also demonstrate scent training and bite-sleeve grip.
“The mission of the PA K9 Assistance Foundation is to provide under-funded K9 teams with necessary training and safety equipment that will aid and protect them in the performance of their jobs, which are vital to keep the citizens and police officers of our communities safe,” according to an announcement from the 100 Cars for Good campaign.
The campaign is in its fourth year.
Winners of the campaign were picked each day – for 100 days – through public voting on Facebook.
The PA K9 Assistance Foundation will use their new Sienna for both mobile education and as safe transport for K9s who attend these events, according to the campaign.
