Pearl S Buck Launches Online Typhoon Relief Fundraiser

According to the organization, 45 of its sponsored children are homeless and without food and water due to the storm.

Pearl S Buck, headquartered in Perkasie, has begun a fundraising effort to help victims of the typhoon that devastated parts of the Philippines earlier this month.

According to the organization, 45 of its sponsored children are homeless and without food and water due to the storm.

“Our in-country Executive Director has traveled into Cebu, and supplied our sponsored children with financial assistance for their immediate needs. This is only the beginning, however, as additional financial assistance for food and water will be required along with financial support to rebuild or repair their homes,” the organization posted on its website.
