Holly Berry Huynh Foundation Holding Golf Outing

The Holly Berry Huynh Foundation is holding a golf tournament next month to raise money in memory of a 9-year-old girl who died last year. 

The Sept. 22 tournament, sponsored by Poco’s Restaurant, will be held at Bucks County Country Club, 2600 York Road, Jamison. 

Money raised will benefit the foundation named in honor of Holly Berry Huynh, who was killed in a high-speed car accident on Route 611 the night before Thanksgiving.

Drew Bodden, the driver of the car that hit Holly's grandmother's vehicle, has been found guilty of third-degree murder in connection with the crash.

Holly's foundation provides scholarships for art programs at the James Michener Art Museum. She was a fourth grade student at Groveland Elementary School when she was killed on Nov. 21.

“Holly enjoyed learning and had an inquisitive mind. She truly enjoyed science. Holly also enjoyed art and was an accomplished artist. She enjoyed taking classes at the James A. Michener Art Museum,” according to the foundation website.

Tee time for the golf outing starts at 12:30 p.m. The cost to participate is $125 per golfer, which includes the cart, green fees, dinner and a comedy show. You can still go if you don’t want to golf. The cost to attend the dinner and the comedy show is $40.
