The Merchants of Doylestown need your help to fill the bus—with food, that is.

This Friday, the local merchants are hoping to fill a bus will non-perishable food items to help the hungry in Bucks County.  The local merchants are working with the United Way of Bucks County and the DART Bus Program to collect the donations for the Doylestown Food Bank.

According to event organizers, the free Friday Night DART bus will be parked at State and Main streets from 6 to 9 p.m. Members of the public are asked to bring non-perishable food items to fill the bus for those in need.
