Former 'Idol' Finalist, Local Businesses Holding Winter Benefit Concert

Justin Guarini will perform with his band The Payback Monday at 8 p.m.

Former “American Idol” finalist and Doylestown native Justin Guarini will perform next week at Maxwell’s on Main to benefit the Bucks County Housing Group. 

The concert, during which Guarini will perform with his band The Payback, will be held Monday at 8 p.m.

Maxwell’s On Main and the band are collaborating with Busy Bee Toys by accepting winter coat and toy donations for a discounted ticket price to the concert. Coat and toys are being collected for The Doylestown Shelter of the Bucks County Housing Group.

Admission to the concert it $12 with the donation of any size new or lightly used coat or children’s toy. Without a donation, admission is $20.

The Bucks County Housing Group maintains 212 family homeless beds in Bucks County with transitional housing units at five shelter sites. In 2012, the organization provided homeless services to 140 families.

Local merchants, including Olive Oil Etcetera, Monkey’s Uncle, Lotus and Siren Records, are participating in the benefit by donating raffle prizes.
