The Matthew Renk Foundation is holding a fundraiser on Sept. 21 that will support its mission of aiding individuals and families facing the challenges of brain cancer.
The event, described as a night of beauty and fashion, will feature a fashion show as well as a presentation by the CEO of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, which works closely with the foundation. It begins at 7 p.m. at Standard Club, 127 E State St.

Matthew Renk, a Central Bucks student, passed away at the age of 15 from a cancerous brain tumor.
The nonprofit foundation was formed by his parents, Dave and Jackie Renk, to generate awareness of childhood brain cancer and to provide support for families, according to the website.
