The Doylestown 5K through downtown Doylestown has always been the biggest of the Bucks 5K Series of races. This year will be no exception.
More than 800 runners are expected for the race on May 28th, the Saturday before Memorial Day. In addition, there will be a special registration on May 27th at Our Lady of Mount Carmel School Gym. Pre-registered runners can also pick up race packets on the 27th.
Every pre-registered runner will receive a race t-shirt. There will be outstanding raffle prizes for the runners. The overall winners, age place winners and the age-graded master winners will receive awards. Age place winners will score an engraved glass with a "fill it" coupon from Chambers or Planet Smoothie.
Fun runners will receive logo tattoos, pin awards and sports socks.
Crowd support is always at a high level during the race. There will be a "Show your Spirit" contest for the neighbors and houses on the course. In addition, cowbells and pompoms will be distributed to the cheering crowds.
Finally, there will be three bands along the course. Our exciting hometown band, Rose's Cross, will be performing during the awards ceremony at Star Park, located behind Puck.
