Solebury Club Instructor, Karin Eisen will lead the Vinyasa-style yoga class, which will focus on linking movement to breath.

A charity yoga class will be held next month to support a local woman struggling with a rare form of cancer.

The Solebury Club is hosting the one-hour yoga class on June 8 at 10:30 to support Judy Abbate, who is fighting a rare form of appendix cancer.

Abbate and her husband, Drew, are the former owners of Vine and Fig Tree Restaurant. The restaurant operated on State Street until October, when it closed its doors for good.

“Through food, Drew touched many of our lives in the Doylestown area. Drew and Judy’s lives changed when Judy was diagnosed with cancer.  Judy is doing well, right now, but Drew had to give up the restaurant and the medical bills have been rolling in.  They are looking for a few angels,” an announcement from event organizers said.

Solebury Club Instructor Karin Eisen will lead the Vinyasa-style yoga class, which will focus on linking movement to breath.
