Buy a Hat, Help Save Kids Castle

Keep your head warm this winter while helping to save Kids Castle.

Wizbang Hats has partnered with Save Kids Castle, a group working to repair the popular township playground. Wizbang Hats will donate 20 percent of each online sale to the effort to renovate Kids Castle, according to Save Kids Castle's blog on Doylestown Patch. 

Shoppers should use the online code “SaveTheCastle" when shopping at https://wizbanghats.com/Shop.

The playground, located at Doylestown's Central Park, closed between March and September for the first phase of repairs. New decks, flooring, cargo nets and roofing were installed. 

Now, organizers are gearing up for the second phase of repairs. Plans call for installation of additional playground equipment designed for younger children, as well as handicap accessible pieces to be as inclusive as possible.

The project will require an overall fundraising campaign of more than $600,000 to complete. According to the Save Kids Castle website, $163,849 has been raised towards that goal as of Wednesday.
