7th Annual Colby Umbrell Memorial 5K is May 10
The annual event is held in honor of Umbrell, an Army First Lieutenant who died in 2007 while serving in Iraq.
The 7th Annual Colby Umbrell Memorial Walk and 5K will be held May 10 at Central Park in Doylestown.
The annual event is held in honor of Umbrell, an Army First Lieutenant who died in 2007 while serving in Iraq. Umbrell is a 1999 Central Bucks High School East graduate.
The event, hosted by the Central Bucks East Class of 1999, benefits the Colby Umbrell Memorial Fund. The fund supports local student scholarships and other charities.

Past recipients include: Bronze Star Football, Baseball and Military Scholarships; Central Bucks Special Olympics Swim Program; Doylestown American Legion and VFW; American Cancer Society; Coatesville Veterans Center; and the Dover AFB Fisher House Project.
Registration is $25 for the 5K and $20 for the one-mile walk.
