Peddler's Village Peach Festival and Summer Sidewalk Sale

August is National Peach Month and Peddler’s Village kicks off the celebration at the Peach Festival featuring the Annual Summer Sidewalk Sale on Saturday, August 10, and Sunday, August 11, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Rain or shine. Admission and parking are free.

It’s a peach-lover’s paradise all weekend with plenty of fantastic food, traditional peach pie eating contests, sizzling shopping deals, and live musical entertainment all in the beautiful garden setting of Peddler’s Village. 

Pick up some locally grown peaches from two Bucks County fruit orchards, Active Acre Farms and Bechdolt’s Orchards. Bechdolt’s will also be selling their homemade peach salsa. Sample a variety of peach butters from Bauman’s Pennsylvania Dutch family farm and choose your favorite to purchase and take home! Savor the flavors of all things peach with delicious baked treats from Town Crier Bakery, from peach fritters, peach bread pudding, peach pies, peach muffins, peach strudel and peach kuchen to peach cakes and cupcakes, peach turnovers, peach strudel, peach tea breads, peach pull apart bread, peach tarts, and peach butter cake.  Once stomachs are satisfied, check out the deals in the Annual Sidewalk Sale. The sidewalks of Peddler’s Village will be lined with bargains that will dazzle even the savviest shopper! 

Each afternoon, cheer on the brave contestants in the traditional pie eating contests. The Peach Pie Eating Contest, held at 3 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday, provides lots of laughs and prizes for winners.  Competitions are held in these age categories -- 10 and under, 11-14 and 15 and up.
Contestants are chosen by lottery and must sign up from 10 a.m.-2: 45 p.m. at the Hospitality Booth on the Main Green.

11 a.m -1 p.m.: Aubreylynn, Toy Shoppe & Eldreth
12 p.m.-3 p.m.: Mango Men, Gazebo
12 p.m.-2 p.m.: Mike Brill, Courtyard
1 p.m. – 4 p.m.: Stiltwalker strolling the Village
3 p.m.-3:30 p.m.: Peach Pie Eating Contests on the Main Green
3:30 p.m.-6 p.m.: Blue Roots Blue Grass, Main Green Balcony
Sunday, August 11
10 a.m.-12 p.m.: Acoustic Road, Main Green
11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Meg’s Melodies, Eldreth Green 
12 p.m.-3 p.m.: Diablo Sandwich, Main Green
2 p.m.-2 p.m.: Tony Alosi, Courtyard
1 p.m. – 4 p.m.: Stiltwalker strolling the Village
3 p.m.-3:30 p.m.: Peach Pie Eating Contests on the Main Green
3:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.: The Overtones, Main Green Balcony
