Peace Works Camp Session II - A Woman's Place

Don’t miss this summer’s exciting opportunity to have your child(ren) participate in this year’s Peace Camp sponsored by A Woman's Place (AWP).  This week-long summer camp represents an extension of AWP’s successful Peace Works elementary curriculum currently delivered throughout the regular school year in Bucks County’s school districts.  Activities, games, and crafts focus on building positive self-esteem, promoting healthy relationships, and encouraging teamwork: skill sets that will benefit your child throughout their school years and beyond.

Advocate-in-Training (AIT) Program
Our Advocate-in-Training (AIT) Program is available for students entering grades 7 through 9.  Students participating in the program will be assisting camp counselor’s for half the day and spend the other half engaged in an adaptation of the “Owning Up” curriculum which focuses on the prevention of youth violence. This program is free for participants. For an application to the program, click here.

Registration
Peace Works Camp will be offered for two separate weekly sessions at Doylestown Mennonite Church, at the corner of Sandy Ridge Road and North Broad Street in Doylestown, Pa.  Enrollment is open to all students entering kindergarten through 6th grade.  Click here to register your child(ren) for one of the following sessions:
