Notes from our host Arthur:

I would like to welcome you to my home and I hope you all have an enjoyable afternoon and evening. You will park your car just into the property.  Patrick will be there to help you with this. He will be there at 3:00 so you can start on the hors-d'œuvres. Pat will drive you up to the house. I feel this is best as there is not enough room for everyone to park at the house and it is best if Pat drives you inasmuch as it is 1⁄2 mile and there is a steep hill to climb. If Pat is not there, he is driving a previous guest. Just wait. He will be right back. Park as the other cars are parked.

From 3:00 to 4:00 it is Hors-d'œuvres (Cantaloupe Melon wrapped in Prosciutto, Shrimp [not the tiny ones] and "Hot Pigs in a Blanket").

Dinner will be served about 5:15pm with a table for 6 in each room. As you can see the sample of a place setting (picture), there are NO paper plates or plastic utensils. This is a REAL dinner. We will begin with a salad of Wilted Spinach with a warm bacon dressing. Next will be the main course, served à la française (family style), consisting of Roast Turkey, Turkey gravy, Stuffing (my mother's recipe which I slightly modified), Cranberry Sauce and Roasted Carrots. (I made everything EXCEPT the Cranberry Sauce. I really don't like Cranberry Sauce !!)

At approximately 7:30, the dessert course the three desserts will be available in the kitchen. Just come in and select your dessert (or desserts). Seconds would be a great compliment. I will have made a multi layer cake with Butter Cream icing, a Polenta Apple Cake (my favorite) and a Lemon Ice Box Cheese Cake.
