Life Skills Workshop for Children

Your Charming Child provides etiquette education to children
ages 4 through 12. Studies have shown that children are more open to etiquette
instruction when taught by someone other than a parent. Also, at a younger age,
they are more receptive to learning and retaining what they have learned. Your

Table Manners – Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013 - 11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Good dining skills help to ease awkwardness whether at home, a

will cover the topics of place settings, identifying utensils and glassware,
proper use of napkins, selecting the correct utensils, difficult to eat foods,
eating various foods including bread, soup and dessert, behavior at the table,
styles of dining: American, continental and buffet, entering and exiting,
posture and conversation, leaving the table and proper seating.

Just as loving and caring parents want the best for their
children by enrolling them in a music program or a sport, encouraging them to
learn to communicate and behave properly is a most important investment with a
lifetime of return. After all, what parent wouldn’t want his/her child to be
