Lenape Valley Foundation Kicks Off Community Support Program (CSP) of Bucks County

Lenape Valley Foundation will kick off the Community Support Program (CSP) of Bucks County on Wednesday, August 7, 2013. The kick-off will take place in the Pearl Buck Room located at the Doylestown Free Library, 150 S. Pine Street, Doylestown, from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. Pizza and refreshments will be served.



The CSP seeks to help make recovery from mental health challenges a reality for all Bucks County citizens. The kick-off is open to mental health services consumers, family members, providers, and to the general Central Bucks County community.



The agenda includes:

An introduction to Community Support Program principles by Nancy Scheible, County CSP Coordinator

A presentation on the state of public sector services by Dawn Seader, Deputy Administrator, Bucks County Mental Health/Developmental Programs

Stories of recovery – Learn how community-based support can enhance and promote recovery

A call-to-action to further the mission of the Central Bucks CSP Committee

CSP is a coalition of individuals who receive mental health services, their family members, mental health providers and the Bucks County Department of Mental Health in an equal partnership to promote recovery and excellence in the delivery of community based mental health services. Individuals come together to exchange ideas about how to continue to provide the best possible services for individuals who experience mental health challenges.



For over half a century, Lenape Valley Foundation has partnered with residents of Bucks County encountering mental health, substance use, intellectual or developmental challenges, providing services to assist them in the pursuit of their personal aspirations and an enhanced quality of life. Lenape Valley Foundation is a private, not-for-profit provider of crisis, information and referral, treatment, case management, residential, consultation and psycho-educational services.
