Girls on the Run (GOTR) - A Woman's Place

A Woman's Place (AWP) is excited to partner with Girls on the Run (GOTR) to offer an after school program for 4th - 6th grade girls! This 12-week program encourages preteen girls to exercise while participating in activities that help them discover who they are, identify healthy relationships, and learn how they can better get involved with shaping their own community and world.  Along with having a ton of fun, the group will train together to participate in the Girls on the Run 5K on Sunday, June 1 in Flemington, NJ. You are invited to join AWP in this wonderful program for a fun-filled spring season!

The GOTR program runs for 12 weeks, beginning the week of March 10 and will meet Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 4:30 - 5:45 p.m. at George M. Bush Park (Cold Spring Creamery Rd. & Burnt House Hill Rd., Buckingham, PA 18902). The program will be limited to 15 girls who will be enrolled on a first-come, first-served basis, so please register early!

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN AND WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLINE THROUGH THE GIRLS ON THE RUN WEBSITE. REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE WHEN ENROLLMENT HITS CAPACITY. CLICK HERE TO ACCESS THE REGISTRATION PAGE.
