Pearl S. Buck International will host its first Chinese Culture camp this summer. The camp is geared towards children in grades K-6 to explore the culture and traditions of China. The camp will focus on language, arts & crafts, sports and games, music and dance, food, and history. Activities such as paper making, kite flying, brush painting, calligraphy, folk songs, origami, traditional dancing, and storytelling will be included. The cost is $150 with a $20 discount if you register before March 20th.

Registration and information may be found by visiting www.pearlsbuck.org/camp or calling 215-249-0100 ext. 172.

The camp will take place at Pearl S. Buck International's 68 acre campus with beautiful gardens, the Pearl S. Buck Historic House, Welcome Center, and Pearl S. Buck's restored historic barn, now a beautiful Cultural Center.  Perfect for adoptive families with children born in China and families who recognize the value of providing their children with a multi-cultural experience.  The camp will conclude with Family Day held the last Friday from 10am to 2pm where campers and family members will sample traditional Chinese food, enjoy song and dance performances, an art show displaying children's projects, and other activities.
