We are all sharing this wonderful Holiday season as expressed by songwriter/marketing guru and workshop attendee, Amy Duckett

Wagner.

There’s a light in the window

To welcome the travelers home

The seasons are turning, our

candles are burning

Let’s take this light and pass it on…

Amy Duckett Wagner

“Take the light and pass it on!” How great is that? No wonder I will be producing

her” says
Lon.“… I am totally in awe of the level of talent in this area. The folks

who attended our last workshop are unbelievable!”

Comment(s)

from the last Workshop

would LOVE to be part of the collective.                                                       Tom Yates

 I
enjoyed the dual guitar work at the end. I think you and I could do some of

that very nicely. I admire the clarity of the elements in the sound space.

Especially the way the bass has a beefy, distinct sound.

It

was great meeting and really enjoyed hanging out afterward.  And thanks

for your compliments.  I’ve been away from music, my real passion, for a

long time, and just started playing .

The perils of selling your soul to capitalism I guess.  Amy has

been a great networking source, especially since I’m sort of a new resident and

don’t know a lot of people here.  It’s a very vibrant scene, the trick is

meeting folks with common interests.

feel compelled to record this song with My MOTHER and DAUGHTER.... through

you,  because you said you were interested in substance. ..... We have

multiple instrumentation,  though not especially  proficient. ..I'm

feeling a strong connection to my Irish and Hillbilly roots. ... I know I sound

nuts. ...all I can  say is I've learned to trust my intuitIon. ..is this

something you are interested in?

“Music for Conscious Change”

Lon Van Eaton has recorded with artists around the world including: George Harrison,  Ringo Starr, John Lennon, Eric Clapton, Peter Frampton, Carly Simon, Ben Vereen, Dr. John and Harry Nilsson. He produced recordings as diverse as “EarthBeat” with Stevie Wonder for Ted Turner’s CNN environmental program and with classical conductor Zubin Mehta at the Kennedy Center, in D.C.  and Lincoln Center in NY.

Lon’s philosophy of learning skills, then moving forward into new challenging areas has expanded his experiences and laid the groundwork for his new Musix System.

Lon refers to himself as lucky. I think a lot of this luck is believing in yourself. At what point did Lon "discover" his luck--was it Berklee Conservatory, was it in London? Is it karmic or is it nurturing the mind to appropriately take on risks and adeptly handle the challenges?                                                                               Posted by Paul Petersky

Calling All Bucks County Musicians, Writers, Music Lovers

Our workshops are Creative Musical Recording sessions that take place in the company’s new studio in a 1749 stone School House on Holicong.  Every workshop is tailored to suit individual needs and desires in 4 weekly sessions. You, the group and Lon create and complete work, learning specific creative techniques, like some the Beatles used.  Bring a song, an idea, your instrument or just remember what you hummed in the shower!

Lon says

“It’s magic! A song/production/record grows from a blank page. Listen to the

track on the website where I nicked some bits from John. Thoughts are things

right? What you think comes true?   We love to explore all levels of the wonder of it all!”
