Community Acupuncture

Does the thought of getting acupuncture have you on pins and needles? In this two-hour Master Class, Cornerstone's liscensed Acupuncturist, Suzie Lee, will address commonly asked questions regarding acupuncture and provide community acupuncture treatments to all who attend.

Community acupuncture is the practice where multiple patients receive treatment at the same time in a shared setting. Everyone remains clothed, providing access to their arms (usually from the elbows to their hands), legs (knees to feet), head and face. Suzie will take your pu...lse, observe your tongue and ask why you are seeking acupuncture. She will quickly insert needles to address your symptoms and then you are free to relax and even fall asleep! Acupuncture’s therapeutic properties can be so calming, patients often fall asleep and wake up relaxed and energized from their treatment. Please bring your yoga mat (a limited number of mats are available for use at the Treehouse as well), and be part of this collaborative healing experience!

Suzie Lee, M.Ac., L.Ac. is a Licensed Acupuncturist and obtained her Masters in Acupuncture from The New England School of Acupuncture (NESA), the oldest acupuncture school in the country. She is Nationally Board Certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and licensed by the Pennsylvania Board of Osteopathic Medicine. Suzie is a member of the Association for Professional Acupuncture (APA) and Maryland Acupuncture Society (MAS).
