Carter Van Dyke Shares His Passion for Private Gardens
Award winning landscape architect, Carter Van Dyke, will
share his passion for developing wonderful private gardens with the Doylestown
Nature Club on Monday, March 10th, at 1:00 pm. Some of his creations,
other than private gardens, include the Hudson River Waterfront at Port
Imperial, many National Cemeteries throughout the country, public gardens in
the United States and Canada and Bryn Athyn College, and revitalization plans
for Keswick, Ambler, and Dublin Borough. In the Doylestown area, the firm is
noted for starting the hanging basket program, initiating the 26 miles of hike
and bike trails and developing the Cultural Center of Doylestown at the Bucks
County Library and Michener Museum. All are welcome to the free meeting in the
rear on the lower level at the Buckingham Township Building, 4613 Hughesian
