Breakout! Swim Clinic

Young swimmers in the Central Bucks area will have a unique chance to improve their competitive swimming skills by working with two swimming champions, Brendan Hansen and Kristy Kowal. Dolphin Swim Team at Central Bucks Family YMCA is pleased to announce that they will host a Mutual of Omaha Breakout! Swim Clinic

on December 8 at the Y’s 25 meter pool, located at 2500 Lower State Road,

Doylestown.

The event is a four hour in-water stroke technique clinic from 1-5PM, for ages 7 to 18 year old. The cost is $90 per swimmer for Y members and $110 for non-members. The swimmers will hear inspiring messages from the Olympians and work in the water watching demonstrations and instruction on swim strokes and techniques. Some participants may even have a chance to test their strokes in a race against the Olympic champions.

Hansen won a bronze medal in the 100-meter breaststroke and a gold medal in the 4x100-meter medley relay at the 2012 Summer Olympics while Kowal won a silver medal in the 200-meter breaststroke at the 2000 Summer Olympics. Participantsin the program will have the chance to ask questions, get autographs, take pictures and receive a gift bag with T-Shirt, Poster, DVDs and other souvenirs from the Olympians.
