Woman Attacked, Locked Up By Acquaintance, Police Say

According to Doylestown Borough Police, Francisco Lopez, 30, of Spruce Street, allegedly assaulted an acquaintance at her home on June 29.

A Doylestown man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly attacked a woman in her home then locked her in a room late last month, Borough Police said.

According to Doylestown Borough Police, Francisco Lopez, 30, of Spruce Street, allegedly assaulted an acquaintance at her home on June 29.

The victim told police that Lopez threw her on the floor and hit her repeatedly in the face. Lopez allegedly had a small knife in his hand while striking her, causing a laceration to her face, according to information from the police.

Lopez then allegedly locked the victim in a room and wouldn't let her leave, according to police.

Lopez is charged with assault, terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, harassment, false imprisonment, unlawful restraint and possessing an instrument of crime.
