Saturday Family Matinee: The Secret Garden

What: See a children's classic on the big screen.

When/Where: March 2, 2013, 10:30 a.m. The County Theater, 20 E State St, Doylestown

Cost: $4 or free for members

 

Maple Sugar Festival

What: The sap is running! Naturalists will lead an educational walk and will discuss the historical significance of this sweet bounty as well as methods for processing.

When/Where: March 2, 2013, 11 a.m.,  Peace Valley Nature Center, 170 N Chapman Rd, Doylestown

Cost: walk is free; treats for purchase

 

Bucks County Band Festival

What: Students from more than 20 schools in the county auditioned and won seats on this year's Bucks County Band and Orchestra. These 200 high school and middle school band students and high school orchestra students will perform in a concert.

When/Where: March 2, 2013, 3 p.m., Central Bucks High School West, 375 W Court St, Doylestown

Cost: $6

 

Ukrainian Dinner

What:  Enjoy a real homemade meal - 2 pierogy (potato w/cheese), 1 holubschi (stuffed cabbage), kielbasa w/sauerkraut, rye bread w/ butter, and dessert

When/Where: March 2, 2013, 4 p.m., St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1545 Easton Rd, Warrington

Cost: $10

 

Free Will Brewing Sponsors Local Artist Expo to Raise Money for Perkasie Fire Company

What: Free Will Brewing is sponsoring "Malt, Fire and Art," where local artists will display their art throughout the brewery's production area. Free beer tastings and light fare provided by Down to Earth Café. Donations will be accepted at the door with all proceeds benefitting the Perkasie Fire Company.

When/Where: Sunday, March 3, 2013, 2 - 6 p.m., Free Will Brewing, 410 E Walnut St, Perkasie
