Why go:  The Doylestown Nature Club is hosting its annual plant exchange. Contribute a specimen (no invasive species, please) and take a new plant home.

What: A festival of big rigs and trucks of all kinds.

Why go: Do your little ones have a fascination with trucks? Here’s your chance to let your children experience what it’s like to sit behind the wheel of these big machines.

What: The Bucks County Housing Group will host its second annual Mother’s Day Tea to raise money for families participating in the organization’s supportive housing programs

When/where: Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at

Why go: The event will feature tea, light refreshments, 20 vendors, a raffle and a scavenger hunt with a Kindle Fire as the prize. The Tea Can Company will be offering specialty teas. A variety of treats, including cupcakes, tea sandwiches and scones, will be served. 

Cost: Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for students and $5 for children if purchased in advance. Tickets will be available at the door for $25, $15 and $10.
