UFO Sightings Reported in Doylestown

In light of World UFO Day, we decided to find out if there have been any recent UFO sightings in Doylestown.

In light of World UFO Day, Patch Editor Kara Seymour decided to find out if any sightings of unidentified flying objects have been reported recently in the Doylestown Patch area. The answer is yes.

According to the National UFO Reporting Center, there have been three UFO sightings in the Doylestown area over the past year.

The most recent sighting was in Furlong on May 3. According to the National UFO Reporting Center’s state report index for Pennsylvania, a sphere-shaped unidentified flying object with multi-colored lights was seen floating for 25 minutes in Furlong.

On July 9, 2012, a rectangle shaped flying object with about 16 lights was spotted “moving slow and low” in Doylestown for 10 minutes, according the National UFO Reporting Center. 

And on Aug. 4, 2012, three red fireballs were seen in Warrington for 30 seconds.

According to the website www.worldufoday.com, the purpose of the July 2 holiday is “to make people aware of the UFO phenomenon during this day. We see a future in which UFOs aren’t speculations anymore but part of daily life.”

The website has many suggestions on how to celebrate World UFO Day, like watching UFO movies and talking with your friends about the possibility of UFOs or alien life.
