Regional Roundup: Juvenile Driver Crashes SUV, Flees

And two Newtown Township supervisors engage in a spat during a supervisors meeting.

: Lower Moreland Police responded to a call about suspicious activity involving a gold SUV that was operating on a flat tire. After being involved in a minor accident where a mailbox and retaining wall were damaged, three boys ages 14, 16 and 17 fled the scene, jumped out of the vehicle and ran into the woods in the area of Levy Lane towards County Line Road. The juvenile who was driving the car was cited for several violations.

: An argument at Wednesday's Newtown Township Board of Supervisors meeting over the Stoopville Road Improvement Project caused one board member to call another a liar.

: Police released a sketch of the man who committed an armed robbery in the 200 block of East County Line Road, which caused Crooked Billet Elementary School to be locked down on Monday. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 40 years of age, tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hat, black hooded sweat jacket with a zipper, black pants and black boots.

: Colleen Freeling, 29, of Bensalem, was arrested in Mount Laurel, N.J. on March 20 for stealing nearly $450 worth of items from a Wegmans supermarket. Freeling also faces Bucks County charges related to a 2010 incident involving drugs and a stolen car with a 6-year-old passenger.
