Newtown Township officials say they want to be involved in the process to develop a mixed-use project in Newtown Borough at the Stocking Works II site. “Redevelopment of that site is going to change the traffic flow from Newtown Township to Newtown Borough forever,” said township board chairmain Robert Ciervo. He suggested the township gain “party status” in the conditional use proceedings so it could have the ability to appeal if necessary.

 Hatboro-Horsham senior Sean Canepa will be a guest speaker at the 38th Annual Burn Foundation Gala in Philadelphia on Friday. Sean will share his own personal story, a account that was made public with a documentary he created last year called “Normal.”
