Nighttime Road Work Around Doylestown This Week

PennDOT workers will be removing old signs and putting up new ones for the Route 202 Parkway.

A series of travel restrictions are scheduled in Bucks and Montgomery counties this week for Route 202 Parkway construction, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

Intermittent nighttime lane closures will occur in Doylestown Township Monday through Friday (Feb. 6-10) from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on the northbound and southbound Route 202 Bypass between the Route 611 and Main Street exits, and on the northbound and the southbound Route 611 Bypass between Edison-Furlong Road and the State Street exit.

Crews will remove old sign structures and install new ones for the Parkway.

Flaggers will direct an alternating single lane of traffic on County Line Road between Stump Road and Kingston Way in New Britain Township and Montgomery Township, Montgomery County, Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for water line construction.

Daytime lane closures are expected in Upper Gwynedd, Lower Gwynedd and Montgomery townships, Montgomery County, Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on:

Route 202 (DeKalb Pike) between Swedesford Road and Route 63 (Welsh Road) for installation of electronic message poles and road widening; and
Route 63 (Welsh Road) between Stump Road and North Wales Road for excavation and road construction.

Drivers should anticipate delays and add extra time for travel through the construction areas. All planned activities are contingent on the weather.
