Meet Marley

This week's homeless dog was kicked and suffered a broken leg but has healed nicely.

Even being kicked and breaking a leg couldn't dampen the sweet spirits of this week's featured dog, Marley.

The 5 month old hound/shepherd mix has mended without any issue, put the abuse behind him and still has an enormous supply of unconditional love, according to the Central Bucks-based rescue group Lu-Lu's Rescue, which is trying to find him a forever home.

"This boy has become an instant rescue favorite because of his incredible capacity for love and affection," rescue organizers said.

Marley weighs 33 pounds, is neutered and is up to date on his vaccines.

He is being fostered with dogs and horses and gets along well with both. He has met cats, too, and likes them, the rescue said.

Marley is quiet, sweet and very mindful and he loves to play and romp with his foster buddies.

Marley is housebroken, crate trained, and leash trained; he does not dig, chew or bark excessively.

"We love him and want him to have the perfect family after his rough start," rescue organizers said. "Marley will reward his family with love and loyalty for the rest of his days!"

Marley's adoption fee is $325. Please visit Lu-Lu's Rescue for an extensive overview of the adoption process.
