Heat Advisory for Tuesday

It will not be a good afternoon to move furniture, say, or run a 5K - or do without air conditioning.

Tuesday is going to be hot - dangerously so, according to the National Weather Service.

The service on Monday issued a heat advisory for Doylestown and the surrounding area. The advisory is in effect from noon to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12.

A very hot and humid air mass will cause temperatures to rise into the mid 90s and create dangerous conditions, the service said. Heat index values of around 100 to 105 degrees are likely.
