Fundraisers, food, music, and fun on tap this weekend.

The unofficial end of summer is getting close. If you are not squeezing in a trip to the shore, here are some ideas on how to spend your time locally, this weekend. Enjoy the summer while you can!

CB West Football's Drive One 4 UR School Test Drive fundraiser

Where/When: , 375 W Court St, Doylestown. Fri. 11-7pm

Why Go: Test drive a Ford or Lincoln vehicle, provided by the Fred Beans family of dealerships, and Ford will donate $20 per qualified test drive to CB West for its football program, up to $6,000.

Also enjoy community events provided by the Central Bucks YMCA.

Where/When: 130 E Swamp Rd, Doylestown. Sat 8-10:30pm

Why Go: Suburban Cyclists Unlimited Award Winning Century ride begins in Doylestown at the Moravian Tile Works. All riders will visit picturesque Lake Galena in Peace Valley Park. 50-to-107-Mile riders will also visit our well-stocked rest stop at scenic Lake Nockamixon. Century riders will spend more time on the north side of Lake Nockamixon.

Pricing:  $30 pre-registration, $35 day of event

Sizzlin' Summer Sparerib Cook Off Fundraiser

Where/When: Holicong Park 5143 York Rd, Holicong. Sat 3-7pm

Why Go: So you think your spareribs are the best around? Now's your chance to prove it! Or just come and enjoy the fun.

Come to Holicong Park for a Sparerib Cook Off that's also a fundraiser for Cub Scout Pack 71 and Boy Scout Troop 71. Judging will be at 5 P.M. Bring a picnic blanket, Frisbee, ball, or whatever you like to have some good old fashioned family fun.

Pricing: $10

Decorative Flip Flops

Where/When: , 84 S Pine St, Doylestown. Sun. 1-3pm

Why Go: S is for Shoes. Visit the Mercer's new A-Z exhibit, and then have some fun creating a pair of hand-made flip flops.

Pricing: Included with museum admission   

Benefit for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks Co

Where/When: Ash Mill Farm Bed & Breakfast, 5358 York Rd, Holicong. Sun 1-7pm

Why Go:  Enjoy live music, food and drink to benefit a Great Cause!
Bands: Doug Hawk Proposition & Billy Bauer Band
Beer by Weyerbacher, Wine from Buckingham Valley Vineyards, Catered by the Riegelsville Inn
