Bucks County Designer House Open for Tours

A grand opening gala was held at the Clement Doyle House Friday night. Proceeds from tour tickets will benefit the Village Improvement Association of Doylestown's project construct a new maternity center at Doylestown Hospital.

The Village Improvement Association of Doylestown (VIA) unveiled the 38th annual Bucks County Designer House & Gardens Friday night with a "Great Gatsby" themed gala.

Each year, the VIA selects a local home and invites area interior designers and landscape artists to showcase their talents throughout the property. This year, the Clement Doyle House at 360 Old Dublin Pike in Doylestown was chosen by the group.

With the rooms and exterior completed, the house is now open until May 26 to the public for tours. Tickets cost $25 per person, $20 for seniors age 62 and over, and $18 per person in groups of 20 or more. Proceeds will benefit the VIA's million dollar pledge to construct a new maternity center at Doylestown Hospital.
