Here's what you need to know to kick off your week.

1. Weather. National Weather Service says: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 81.

2. The first full week of summer vacation stretches out in front of kids all across the area. If you're already searching for something, anything, to keep them busy, check out the . Fun for kids, and grown-ups, too.

3. Doylestown Borough Council meets tonight at Borough Hall at 7 p.m. On the agenda are several parking restrictions proposed for Jackson Street, the adoption of new rules governing stormwater runoff, and the installation of solar panels for Central Bucks Ambulance and Rescue Unit. 4. A belated Happy Father's Day to all you Dads in Doylestown and beyond. Your kids, and your community, thank you for all that you do to raise decent human beings and leave this world a little bit better than the way you found it.

5. On this day in 1975, Jaws was released, and swimming was never the same. I don't remember when I saw the film for the first time, but I do remember the panic that tightened my chest and the sound of my heart pumping in my ears every time I tried to swim across the pool for years afterward. Today, it's tradition for us to watch Jaws on our annual trips to Ocean City, MD. (My 10-year-old loves it, but I still have to look away at parts.)
