New Director of Competitive Aquatics Named at CBFYMCA

Central Bucks Family YMCA is pleased to announce that Tim Ryan is the new Director of Competitive Aquatics at the Doylestown location.

Ryan has over ten years’ experience within the YMCA competitive swim team program recently serving as Competitive Swim Director of the Upper Main Line YMCA, whose boys and girls 13-14 team earned gold at the 2014 YMCA PA State Championships. In previous years, Ryan has held positions with the Northeast Family YMCA, Ambler Area YMCA and Hatboro Swim Club as aquatics director or coach. He received his Bachelor of Science in Recreation Management/Business from Springfield College, MA.

According to Valerie Tanner, Sr. Director of Healthy Living, “Our Y family is thrilled to welcome Tim as the head coach of the Dolphins Swim Team.  Tim brings a lot of positive energy to this position.”

Ryan will helm a 160-member competitive swim team, aquatics programs for youth and adults and the programming of the aquatics center which includes a 25-meter pool and 25-yard instructional pool with water slide and water elements.
