Ro Molyneux, former chief operating officer for the Y, and Mandy Mundy, director of education and training at NOVA, Bucks County, were featured presenters at the 3rd Annual Bucks County Children’s Advocacy Center Conference on Crimes Against Children.
Molyneux and Mundy presented an overview of Darkness to Light as a community empowerment program aimed to prevent child sexual abuse during a credited workshop session for professionals attending the conference. Darkness to Light is a three hour training designed to educate adults on how to recognize, prevent and react responsibly to the reality of child sexual abuse.
“I’m honored to be a small part of this important conference for child advocacy professionals in our area,” said Molyneux. “Anything we can do to promote the Darkness to Light program and connect with others is positive.”
