What Store Would You Love to See in Doylestown?

Genuardi's in Doylestown is up for sale, and other Genuardi's stores will be sold to Giant, the parent company said Thursday.

And it was announced Thursday that 16 Philadelphia-area Genuardi's stores, including ones in Jamison, Newtown and New Britain Township, are being sold to Giant.

Safeway, Genuardi's parent company, said it is leaving the Philadelphia market completely; besides the 16 to be sold to Giant, Safeway plans to close three stores and is negotiating with potential buyers for the remaining eight, including the .

With all the changes in the wind, people have been talking about what stores they would love to see come to Doylestown.
