Third Annual Locavore Comes to Doylestown Thursday

This year's event is expected to draw about 500 people.

Superior Woodcraft is going to be the place to be tonight.

The Doylestown business is playing host once again to Locavore. The now-annual gathering is sponsored by the Doylestown Business and Community Alliance, and host Superior Woodcraft.

The goal of the event is to raise awareness of local businesses, local farms, and local foods, and to encourage cooperation among businesses throughout Bucks County.

Past years have been highly successful, and attendance this year is expected to attract more than 400 people.

Haven't registered? No worries. The DBCA said this week that the event is open to anyone who would like to grow their business.

Guests will be treated to a special selection of local food and beverage provided by the growers and producers who carefully crafted it, the group said.
