Subway Sued Over Sandwich Length

Two men from New Jersey have sued Subway because they say the footlong sandwiches measure less than 12 inches.

If you're headed to Subway bring your appetite -- and your ruler.

That's if you pay as close attention to the size of your sandwich as two New Jersey men, who are suing the fast food chain because they say the advertised footlong sub is just shy of 12 inches.

According to NBC 10, the lawsuit was filed this week.

The plantiffs, John Farley of Evesham and Charles Noah Pendrack of Ocean City, said they measured 17 Subway footlong sandwiches and all were not quite 12 inches.

The NBC 10 report goes on to say the plantiffs are seeking compensatory damages and a change in Subway's practices.

What do you think? Is it fair that Subway is being sued over the size of its sandwiches?

I think there are more important things to be concerned with. I'm fine with my 11.5-12 in. sub. I hope these two "gentlemen" enjoy their 15 minutes.

It's such nonsense. Anyone who's been there sees the prepared trays of shredded meat or the same amount of sliced meat being put down, and they know you're getting the same amount of the 'good stuff' no matter if the bread is 12 or 11 inches.
