New Home Decor Store to Celebrate Grand Opening Saturday

Heather Blue Home, which is located at 181 Hart Ave, features a blend of "earthy and industrial" home accents.

Heather Bleu Home, a new home décor store in Doylestown, will celebrate its grand opening this Saturday.  A ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor Ron Strouse is scheduled for 10 a.m.

Heather Blue Home, which is located at 181 Hart Ave, features a blend of “earthy and industrial” home accents. Plus the store offers gifts and a baby section.
According to their website, the store is owned by Tara Heather Klinges and Nick Van Valkenburgh.

Here’s a summary of the shop, according to website’s “about us” section:

"I have always dreamed of having a funky little store, filled with all of the things that I love. My eclectic style that can change any house into a cozy, beautiful and self defining home. But it stayed a distant dream that only came as close to reality as walking around my friends homes in bare feet, jeans and a white T-shirt, holding a cup of tea and throwing ideas around before beginning to move and play with the things they already had, only to create a new and inviting home.

It was not until I met my husband that the dream went from the chalkboard to the ground. I had found a partner in this dream, and a fellow treasure hunter. Loving the hunt, the sifting through salvage yards and dusty barns. Finally fate lent a hand and suddenly we had found the place, had a truck chock full of goodies and a plan...a vision.
