New Docs Join Doylestown Hospital

Doylestown Hospital welcomed the following physicians this summer:

Yasser Khoudeir, M.D. – Has joined the Department of Medicine/Internal Medicine with the Hospitalist Group. Dr. Khoudeir completed his medical education at Aleppo University School of Medicine, Aleppo, Syria. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at the Interfaith Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Khoudeir is certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Brian Pellini, M.D. – Has joined the Department of Surgery/General Surgery in association with VIAA Surgical Associates. Dr. Pellini completed his medical education at Jefferson Medical College. He completed his internship and residency training in General Surgery at Christiana Care Health System, Newark, DE and is finishing up his fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Surgery at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center, Hartford, Ct. Dr. Pellini is certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery.

Liza Somers, M.D. – Has joined the Department of Emergency Medicine.  Dr. Somers completed her medical education at the University of Pennsylvania.  She completed her residency training in Emergency Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.  Dr. Somers is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. 

David Sheehan, D.O. – Has joined the Department of Radiology/ Interventional Radiology in association with Doylestown Radiology. Dr. Sheehan completed his medical education at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, Biddeford, ME. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Morristown Memorial Hospital/Morristown, NJ, his residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at University of Massachusetts Medical School and will complete his fellowship training in Interventional Radiology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Memorial Center, Lebanon, NH. Dr. Sheehan is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology. 

Jiji Syamala, M.D. – Has joined the Department of Medicine/Internal Medicine in association with the Hospitalist group.  Dr. Syamala completed her medical education at the Medical College, University of Kerala, Trivandrum, Kerala, India.  She completed her internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at Mercy Catholic Medical Center, Darby, PA.  Dr. Syamala is certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Jareer Farah, M.D. – Has joined the Department of Medicine/Internal Medicine in association with the Hospitalist group. Dr. Farah completed his medical education at Jordan University of Science and Technology, Irbid, Jordan. He completed surgical internship training at Bronx Lebanon Hospital, Bronx, NY and his residency training in Internal Medicine at Wayne State University, Detroit, MI.  He is currently completing a Cardiology fellowship at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, PA. Dr. Farah is certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
