Doylestown Pulling Out All the Stops for Live TV Appearance
There will be exercise classes, characters in costume, live music and more Wednesday in Doylestown as Fox 29 films a live television segment.
Live sidewalk painting, a Henry Mercer lookalike, free massages and a group Zumba class are just a few of the special events planned during a live television segment to be filmed Wednesday morning in Doylestown.
Fox 29 will be shooting live in Doylestown Borough from 7 to 10 a.m. as part of the Good Day Philadelphia show’s "Celebrate Your Town" series.
The segment will be filmed downtown at State and Main streets. State Street will be closed from Pine Street to Main Street beginning at 6 a.m. and parking meters will be restricted beginning tonight.

Doylestown businesses are giving people many reasons to come to town as a show of support. According to Derrick Morgan of the Merchants of Doylestown, several businesses and organizations will be set up along State Street.
"We are encouraging the public to turn out for this great event, even if just for a few minutes while on their way to school or work," Morgan said. "Everyone will be able to sample all that our town has to offer and maybe have a chance to be on TV."

- Live musical performances by John Beacher and School of Rock
- Doylestown Historical Cemetery Group in costume

- On-site massages hosted by Azzatori Chiropractic

- Live illustrations for children hosted by Booktenders Secret Garden
