“They’re off to a blazing start for 2011 as well,” said David Principato, Philadelphia regional manager for parts and service operations. “While the region is up 7 percent for the first four months, Fred Beans Parts is up 29 percent.”

Fred Beans Parts, which sells wholesale OEM parts for virtually all manufacturers, has grown consistently since it became a separate division of the Fred Beans Automotive Group in 2001, reporting sales of $127 million for 2010.

Fred Beans, president of the company, has remained closely involved in day-to-day operations of the division, which is managed by Denny Loux, operations director.

“Most of our dealers never make it back to the Parts or Service departments,” said Principato, citing Beans’ intense focus on the success of the parts warehouse.
