Here is the full text of the post, which appeared Monday:

Dear Loyal Finney’s Customers,

Let us express our sincerest apologies to you for the recent week’s closure. Due to a clerical oversight with our paperwork with the PA Liquor Control Board, we were forced to temporarily close.

This is TEMPORARY! We will be open later this week!

It should also be noted that we have had, and continue to have, no issues with underage drinking or other matters of that nature. Our oversight was minimal, yet grave in its outcome; and for that, we are sorry to our devoted clientele.

Never fear! We will see you soon and thank you for your patience as we work through this process.
