Summer Pantry Stock Up

The Bucks County Wellness Centre in New Britain kicked off its Summer Pantry Stock Up Drive earlier this month, to provide food and pantry item assistance for community members in need.

This drive serves to supply the Bucks County Housing Group, a non-profit social service organization, with items needed to stock its dwindling shelves during the summer season. It also works in conjunction with its "Hunger Doesn’t Take a Vacation" campaign.

Donations of food, pantry and pet care items will be accepted at the Bucks County Wellness Centre through Aug. 31. Simple food items such as peanut butter, jelly, tuna, spaghetti sauce and noodles, juice boxes and healthy snack items are appreciated. Dog and cat food, both bagged and canned, will also be accepted.

All persons donating items will receive a gift certificate to the Bucks County Wellness Centre in return for their items. Donations can be made during all office hours. Please visit www.BucksCountyWellnessCentre.com or call 215-345-1445 for more details.
